• Did I know what SEO was? Nope.
  • Did I know what batch creating was? Nope.
  • Did I have a direction for a niche or an aesthetic? Nope.

Sometimes there are too many questions and too many roads to follow to find answers. Plus, one is not sure which route is shorter, scenic or a less bumpy experience.

I’m extremely lucky to have found a road that has assisted me in having the most scenic and comfortable journey on this creative blogging adventure. My guide on this amazing road was Happily Hafsa.

Hafsa is one of those walking encyclopedias who can breakdown and rebuild essential parts of a website and make sure your impactful corner on the internet fully reflects you. She makes it easy, organized and convenient.

Let’s start from the beginning.

Instagram Audit

Hafsa: “What’s your niche?”

Me: “I like talking about food, movies, teaching and my kids. I also love History. Also, travel, don’t forget travel. I also like talking about random facts and toilets. Oh yeah! I forgot! Plus size fashion too.”

Hafsa: “You have to focus on a niche, maybe only three things.”

Me: “Oh, that’s a niche?!”

Hafsa reminded me of a simple concept, you cannot be a jack of all trades and master of none. She helped me focus on a niche which I think is one of the most powerful decisions I made on my platform; I focused on culture. I know culture, I speak culture, I love culture and I know you love it too because that’s what everyone requested from me when I asked you to provide feedback on my account. Many people asked that I bring back Mir Teaching Mondays, especially on culture.

Website Drafts

When I wanted to have a website that reflects my focus on culture and education, I knew Hafsa would be the perfect person to set it up. My hunch was not wrong at all as soon as I saw she sent me a detailed survey asking me what my likes were, my style and my design inspirations. The questions were so detailed and nuanced, it helped me clarify my vision, my colors, and my overall presentation to you. She knew I loved bright colors and this is reflected on this site you’re looking at right now. It took multiple drafts of the website to complete my vision. Throughout the process, she was motivating, understanding and patient. Concepts like search engine optimization which is completely foreign to me, she explained slowly but surely. Over time, it gave me the confidence to add plugin options and a lead magnet to my website. When you come to this platform, I want you to leave a little bit more cultured, a little bit more educated, a little bit more hopeful.

The Final, Scary Step

When the perfect website for me was finalized, I became a little sad. I knew I had monopolized her time and she treated me like one of her best clients, which I’m sure she does with everyone. I was afraid that she had taught me so much and as a bad student, I hadn’t absorbed it all. It was overwhelming to be handed over the keys to my website. But then I saw a new message in my inbox with attached videos. My face lit up and I could feel my eyes begin to water. All of her tips, her guidance, her walkthrough of my website was recorded in a convenient video I could watch anytime. When I’m lost, I have the road to lead me back. I haven’t even described all of her handouts and guidebooks in helping you find the perfect niche and website for yourself, you’re just going to have to find out when you contact her to reach the next level on your specific platform.

I wanted to take this moment to truly thank Hafsa, I wouldn’t be here without her and I’m happy to answer any questions you have if you decide to work with her. I highly recommend it!  http://www.happilyhafsa.com
